A Funny Thing Happened On
The Way To Fun
If you have kids, you have seen them attempt and eventually grow into
being funny.
From reading joke books, to saying lines from movies, their timing is
not quite right in the beginning, and their repertoire is canned.
Then one day, they hit their stride and you laugh out loud from
something they shared.
Following that big laugh, there is a bunch of not quite right timing
again, until they master being funny within the family.
Then they work on being funny with friends, and at school, and in the
community.
Life Is A Lot
Like Learning To Be Funny
With new ideas, we start with those closest to us.
In the beginning, new ideas are not fully understood by ourselves or
others.
We are just so fired up and excited by the new idea, that we think it
is the be all and end all of ideas.
Others may have heard of the ideas before and they want nothing to do
with them.
Then one day, an idea we share helps ourselves and/or others.
We build on that and find that many new ideas help us Create what we
desire.
Then One Day
Everything Clicks
On that day, we no longer use the idea tentatively.
On that day, we Believe that idea.
On that day, we Believe we are Funny. All because our family members
laughed out loud and complimented us on our humor.
Other Times
Life Transforms Without Us Seeing It
Generally this occurs when we are not thinking about what
we are doing.
If we are experiencing something we don’t like, this is
terrible.
If we are experiencing something we like, this is wonderful.
The Funny Thing
Happening On The Way To Fun Is Awareness
When you are Aware of What is going on, the funny thing
that
happens on the way to fun, is that your life is blessed in ever
increasing ways.
The more Aware you are on your Journey of your Choices and your Fun
Focus, the more you will joyfully find things fun.
You will work to better what you are experiencing, and have more fun.
You will work to better your Relationships, and have more fun.
You will work to improve your Right Livelihood, and have more fun.
Most importantly, when you struggle, you will have more fun getting
through it.
